Katelyn Trepanier, PA-C

Katelyn Trepanier was born and raised in the small, quaint town of Dunedin, FL. She was drawn to the medical field from an early age. She began volunteering in the hospital as soon as she was able to and loved the team-based effort that goes into providing quality patient-centered care. Her journey to becoming a Physician Assistant began at the University of Central Florida, where she excelled academically and worked as a teaching assistant for several rigorous science courses. She graduated cum laude in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. Prior to her Physician Assistant training, she decided to gain clinical experience and began working as a patient care technician and monitor technician on a cardiac telemetry unit at the hospital, where she fell in love with the Cardiology specialty as a whole.

Katelyn was accepted into the Florida State University’s Physician Assistant program in 2020. She completed her didactic year in Tallahassee, FL followed by her clinical year in Sarasota, FL, which soon became home. She graduated in 2022 with her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

Katelyn truly loves her job as a Cardiology Physician Assistant and feels very fortunate to

practice alongside Dr. Sedillo and the other providers at the Cardiovascular Solutions Institute.

She is board-certified by the NCCPA and affiliated with AAPA and FAPA.

Katelyn fosters kindness and compassion with every person she meets. She considers herself a

lifelong learner who prioritizes the needs and concerns of her patients. She takes the time to

educate her patients on their diagnoses and treatments and values shared decision-making.

In her free time, Katelyn enjoys exploring the Bradenton/Sarasota area, traveling, cooking, and

spending time with her family and two cats.
