The CardioVascular Solutions Institute staff provides high quality, state of the art, comprehensive cardiovascular care to our patients, their families and the community, within a compassionate and service-oriented environment.
Gino Sedillo, M.D., FACC, Michael G. Tedla, M.D., and Jorge Betancor, M.D. are certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Our Physician Assistants, Jessica Levanti, PA-C and Katelyn Trepanier, PA-C, are certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology as well.

Our office will arrange an appointment for you with our physician or our physician assistant to meet your cardiac & vascular needs. We care for, and treat patients with heart attacks, high blood pressure, heart rate & rhythm disorders, atherosclerotic disease, valve disorders and abdominal aortic aneurysms, along with many other conditions or symptoms.

Gino J. Sedillo, MD, FACC
Founder / CEO

It seems Dr. Gino Sedillo has been on the move his whole life. Literally, as a youngster and, as an adult, professionally.
“I had an interesting childhood, much in part due to my father,Arthur’s, profession,” said Dr. Sedillo, who was born in Albuquerque, N.M. A former Golden Gloves boxing champion and U.S. marine, Dr. Sedillo said his dad began his law enforcement career as a state patrolman and eventually became the first Hispanic agent in the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Michael G. Tedla, MD

Born and raised in Ethiopia, Michael Tedla is the youngest of 4 children. His mother was a schoolteacher, and his father was Manager at SOS Children’s village (non-governmental organization focused on supporting children without parental care and families at risk). 

Michael Tedla knew he wanted to be a doctor at a young age living in underserved communities. He joined Jimma University, one of the only 3 internationally accredited medical schools in Ethiopia at the time. After obtaining his medical degree, he practiced Tropical medicine in Haramaya, one of Ethiopia’s underserved areas for 2 years. He also had the opportunity to teach medical students at Haramaya University. 

Jorge Betancor, MD, FACC

Jorge Betancor, MD, is an Interventional Cardiologist, with a unique expertise in all of the cardiovascular imaging modalities (Echocardiography, Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)), which he acquired at the Cleveland Clinic, ranked the #1 hospital for cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report for more than 20 years.

As an interventional cardiologist, Dr Betancor additionally specialized in the repair and replacement of malfunctioning heart valves at Swedish Medical Center, one of the top institutions nationwide in catheter-based valvular interventions.

By accepting most insurance plans, we are able to provide care to many patients who live in the area, as well as patients visiting the area. Depending on the circumstances, an out of network authorization could possibly be obtained and allow us to provide services.
