Britni is skilled in many areas of the medical office setting. She is a 17 year Manatee County resident and has worked in the medical field for 8 years. A recent graduate of Manatee Technical Institute, she currently holds a LPN license. Britni provides excellent care to our patients by excelling in communications with patients, physician offices, facilities, insurance companies and many other entities.
Brittany was born and raised right here in Manatee County, and joined the CVSI team in August 2015. She has ten years of experience in the medical field working in several specialties such as phlebotomy, pulmonary and cardiovascular. Brittany is self-motivated, has initiative, maintains a high level of energy, and provides excellent care to our patients. Privately, Brittany is a wife and mother of four, keeping herself busy with soccer, dance practice and volunteering her free time at youth sporting events.
Jamie is a Florida native who attended the University of Central Florida earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management. After getting a feel for management roles in the medical field by spending her summers helping her mom at a local kidney dialysis clinic, she realized she needed to continue her education and earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources. Utilizing the lessons learned from her studies and in the field, she enjoys taking care of our patients’ concerns as well as those of our staff. Recently, Jamie and her husband welcomed a daughter to the world and look forward to introducing her to all of the things they love about living in Florida. They can typically be found on the water, fishing, skiing, or just relaxing in the sun.
Kerry came to the CVSI team in August 2013, and is a registered Medical Assistant with twenty years of additional experience in the business side of the medical office field. Originally from Indiana, Kerry attended Keiser College in Florida, and graduated with an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. Having worked in several specialties such as cardiology, orthopedics, and nephrology, as well as in primary care offices, Kerry is versatile and able to help our practice in multiple ways. She has a strong work history, earning service excellence awards and often training other staff members. She enjoys helping our patients, her team members, and our practice with any task she is given. As a wife and mother of two, she enjoys spending her free time with her family out on the water and relaxing in the sun. Having played softball herself, she is active with her children’s teams. She also stays in shape with running, fitness workouts, and participating in charity run/walk events.
Laurie is originally from Massachusetts, and she worked in the insurance industry for fifteen years where she earned her designation. She has been employed at CVSI for over three years, and has worked in cardiology for over twelve years. Laurie’s calming nature proves very helpful in her checkout position. Her excellent telephone and communicaiton skills enable her to help our patients find solutions to any problem that may arise, and always with a smile!
Marla obtained her nursing degree from West Virginia Northern. She has served as an RN in several capacities, such as: Hospital, Primary Care office, Skilled Rehab facility, and Cardiology office. With 37 years of experience, Marla provides compassionate and professional care to our patients. Her skill set includes: excellent communications skills, organizational skills and strong leadership ability. Marla supports the needs of our staff and our patients by utilizing these excellent skills, and exceeding their expectations.
Our only bilingual staff member, Yulie was born here in Manatee County. She plays a vital role in our practice, utilizing strong organizational skills. A graduate of Keiser University with an Associate Degree in Science, Medical Assistant and a graduate of Manatee Technical Institute as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she is more than capable and always eager to help our patients in any way possible. She possesses strong communication skills, which she applies in meeting our patient’s needs. On a personal side, she is a wife and mother of two, who enjoys spending time with her family.
