Jessica Levanti, PA-C

Jessica Levanti was born and raised in Sarasota and attended Riverview High School where she was first introduced to the Physician Assistant profession through an internship program there. Although assigned to work with an orthopedic surgeon, she was instead enamored with the position of Physician Assistant. To achieve her dream, she attended the University of Georgia and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, which gave her a foundation in preventative medicine and patient education. Next, she added a master’s degree in Medical Science through The University of South Florida College of Medicine prior to her Physician Assistant training.
The University of Florida’s PA program is the most competitive and prestigious PA school in the state, and Jessica was accepted into the program in 2016. She graduated in 2018 with Honors and completed specific rotations in Cardiology with USF Health and Cardiothoracic Surgery at UF Health Jacksonville. Jessica enjoyed volunteering at the UF Health Equal Access Clinic, providing medical care to uninsured patients. She was also part of the UF Medical Jeopardy Team and helped UF win its first state championship at the FAPA winter symposium.
Prior to PA school, a dear friend introduced Jessica to Dr. Gino Sedillo. She spent time shadowing him while in the office and during procedures, peaking her interest in the field of cardiology. Post-graduation, she called her new-found friend, Dr. Sedillo, for advice, and he immediately offered her a position working in his practice. Jessica feels very fortunate to work alongside Dr. Sedillo, and together they make a great team. She is board-certified by the NCCPA and affiliated with AAPA and FAPA.
Jessica is happily married to her high school sweetheart and enjoys spending time traveling with her husband. She enjoys explaining diagnoses and treatments to her patients so that they can fully understand their conditions and feel comfortable with their care.
